What separates a racehorse from other horses is their heart - they love to run and to win. But OneTrueDude’s heart has been broken by an abusive trainer. When he moves to Eddie’s barn, he gets a second chance. But first, he has to learn to trust.

Eddie, though, has struggles of her own. Widowed and raising three small children, she is barely getting by. She needs more owners and more horses or she’ll have to give up the life she loves.

Steve, through no fault of his own, loses his job and his marriage ends. He seeks solace in the racetrack barn of a friend, a barn shared with Eddie. Though he knows next to nothing about horses, he helps out until he can find a job.
